About Me

Coming into this world, I had a very well developed set of lungs. I grew up as the oldest in a Military family and have lived in every region of the United States. I am an observer of the things around me (aka people watcher). I went to an Art High School for creative writing (even though I am a horrific speller) and then I went to Columbia College Chicago for a BFA in Advertising Art Direction and a Minor in Marketing. I hope to use my degree to make even the smallest of differences, or at the very least, produce Ad work I am proud of. However, one person rarely does it all themselves. I believe that creativity thrives with laughter and collaboration amongst passionate people. All of my traveling,  interests in different cultures and ancient history has given me an unique perspective from which I work to blend visual interest with information. I am a volunteer graphic designer for animal shelters because I'm a softy for anything fluffy. I strive to be an advertiser and an artist with a purpose: to educate, to lead, and to (hopefully) inspire others with my work.
